Varinha magica LED ativada por movimento foi projetado para Impressora 3D. This design is to make a motion-activated "Harry Potter" style LED wand that lights up with a blue-white LED when the wand is raised vertically and the light goes off when the wand is lowered. The wand relies on a tilt switch and needs about $10 in parts as well as a soldering iron and solder.If you want to skip the whole LED and tilt-switch thing, you can just print it out and use it as a costume wand and I think it looks pretty good. But the whole automatic light-up LED trick is pretty neat and is pretty much guaranteed to put a smile on any child that holds it.Full build instructions, including parts and where I bought them, and photos of the wand being put together are here:https://docs.google.com/document/d/14bZ-IpqVbZkPPZfCg1i2cHG-t4NB6BFCnUCOYWv-gT0I printed the parts in under two hours and assembled it in about an hour the first time. Now that I've made wands for five children, I'm down to about 20 minutes to put one together.It does not need glue for assembly, but I did use 3M Super 77 spray glue on the top wand-halves to hold them together and tap the wires into place. If you don't use glue, then you can use a bit of electrical tape to hold the LED in place and the halves together at the top.If anyone builds one and has advice on how to make the battery assembly or the wand design better, I am totally open to changing the design.
