Lanterna Japonesa foi projetado para Impressora 3D. IntroI really wanted to make a Japanese lamp for my desk. It should be able to change the brightness (dim to bright) by simply touching the lamp. It's dim enough to be used as a night light and bright enough to work when at full power.Using this concept, I designed the Japanese Lamp. It's simple to print, simple to assemble, free for customisation and easy to use. Using wood-PLA 3D Fila and Paper gives a nice and pleasent 'organic' feel. Hope you like it too. Btw, you can print out all pieces without any support structures.How to printSome parts need to be printed muliple times. As for how many times each part must be printed, simply read the name of the file. E.g. the 'diffusor x4' file must be printed 4 times.Electronics used:Any 5V Arduino boardTTP223 (Capacitive touch sensor)Micro USB breakout1000 µF Capacitor8x8 ws2812b Led Matrix (Neopixel)Hot Glue and super glueSoldering iron and cablesA visual guide of the connections can be found in the pictures. AssemblyTake the 'diffusors' and mark the outline with a pencil on standard Paper. With a scissor, cut out the rectangle/square you just marked. Glue the paper on the diffusor. Take this part and glue it on the Panel. One Panel is now complete. Follow the same procedure with the rest of the panels. Glue the 5 finished Panels together.. Upload the code on your arduino and test it. Add and glue your electronics inside the base. The touch sensor should be glued in one of the vents.The micro USB breakout must face the opening of the base to that a micro usb can fit on it. Glue the connector to the base. Now glue the top body to the connector. That's it!UsageConnect a microUSB cable to the lamp. Touch the vent with the touch sensor. There are 4 brightness levels from dim red to bright yellow, and a 5th level for bright white. With each touch you increase the brghtness. After the last mode, it turns off.Short Demo
